At NPACK, we are proud to offer corrosive filling machinery, including a corrosion resistant corrosive liquid filling machine. Our corrosive fillers, machined out of HDPE (high density polyethylene), are designed to handle the harsh punishment that comes along with corrosive liquids. The fillers are capable of handling a variety of viscosities, perfect for accommodating a number of different industries’ products.
What makes corrosive-resistant machinery different?
The standards for machinery that corrosives will pass through are different than the standards for regular machinery. For instance, corrosive-resistant equipment is made with Kynar or Teflon fill valves, HDPE construction, braided PVC tubing, polypropylene fittings, optional enclosures for ventilation and safety, and more. These machines are made with robust materials that hold up against corrosive environments, so you can rely on them to get the job done, time after time.
Our filler is best suited for water and very thin liquids whose viscosity does not change with ambient temperature or with batch variation. Especially suited for caustic and corrosive product where recirculation of the product is not possible. Two to four nozzles are actuated by timer for very precise fills on thin liquids.
NPACK has a unique product line unmatched by any other manufacturer in the world. We have a complete integrated unscramble, fill, cap, accumulate system built entirely of fiberglass, and plastic components. Even the fasteners used in the construction of this machinery are fiberglass. Shaft components are titanium or fiberglass construction depending on tensile strength required. Special coatings are used on on other metalic exposed machinery components whenever practical. Special powder and industrial polymer coatings, teflon plastics, and other materials are used on our manufacturing process. Electronic components used in the control systems are treated for anti corrosion and the enclosures are constantly purged with clean system air even during shutdown.
It is worth noting that other manufacturers have attempted to make corrosion resistant machines in the past only to fail in a short period of time because the frame components and fasteners remained metalic. Our resolve to build a sturdy system out of corrosion proof structural components has not been duplicated by any other manufacturer.
